This classic 1965 Mustang Convertible is a rust-free southern USA car imported into Canada in 2003 from Louisiana. Since that time, the vehicle has undergone an extensive and complete restoration. All exterior chrome, bumper, emblems horse and corral, rocker mouldings, . Since that time, the vehicle has undergone an extensive and complete restoration. This vehicle has been completely restored (the restoration was completed in 2005) to near outstanding showroom condition. Recently appraised at USD$36,000 (approx. CDN$ 42,848). Pictures of the complete restoration are available on request. Some of the new parts that went into the restoration include:- Factory Styled Steel Mustang Wheels- Double Red-Line Coker Classic tires - Convertible (white) Power top-- Quarter Panel, floors and valence--Windshield-The motor is the original numbers matching 289 V8 2BBL with approximately 4,000 miles on a professional rebuild. The odometer shows 18,206, which I believe to be 118,206 original miles. During the restoration, the engine compartment was painted flat black and the breather cover was also detailed. The rest of the engine compartment is in unrestored excellent condition. The 3 speed transmission was rebuilt in 2005 and has approximately 300 miles on it.I am the third mature owner of this classic. The only reason that I have offered it for sale at this time is that we are expecting our second child soon, so this toy has to go!!
